Vantage MIPS | Matte Black XL

"I really like the Vantage MIPS | Matte Black, great safety features comfortable and now fits better with my Smith Mag4 Goggles. I think the sizing is a little out, I have a 61cm head circumference and should have been able to use the Large, but way too tight. I exchanged for the XL which fits, comfortably but firm ,but on the wide open position, another 1cm would have been perfect. Great extras with seperate control over front and rear vent closures. Overall a great helmet and I would definitely recommend, just upsize for head measurements."

Saved My Dad's Life

"This helmet saved my Dad's life. We were skiing in Jackson Hole on a cloudy day. Unfortunately Ski Patrol didn't mark the 6' drop off to a catwalk completely. With zero visibility, he fell and hit his head directly on the catwalk. The MIPS system works. The shell cracked from impact. He is currently recovering from the brain injury. If he hadn't had this helmet, he wouldn't be here today. Thank you, Smith, for creating this helmet and saving my 68 year old father's life."

"Great helmet. Runs small. My melon measures 61 cm at the biggest circumference and the large just barely fits with the adjustment opened up all the way."

Great Helmet

"I now own two of these. The integration with Smith goggles and the headphone inserts in the ear flaps make a great product. The vents are also super helpful when you just finished bombing on a bluebird day and feel like you're roasting under the Colorado sun."
